This 30-minute audio class is the first in the “Warm Up” series for the Living (Well!) with Gastroparesis Program. Together, we’ll cover the ins and outs of a gastroparesis diagnosis, including what it means to have “gastroparesis,” the common symptoms associated with the condition, how it’s diagnosed, potential issues with diagnostic tests, possible causes/contributing factors for developing gastroparesis, and the differences between GP and other GI disorders, especially functional dyspepsia. We’ll also discuss the most effective approach for treating gastroparesis symptoms and improving quality of life.
This class is designed to ensure that all LWWGP Program participants have a thorough understanding of the condition before we dive into the Core classes and creating your personalized gastroparesis management plan.
For those who do not plan to enroll in the full program, this class serves as an excellent introduction to understanding a gastroparesis diagnosis and becoming empowered on your health care journey.
