If you’ve read Eating for Gastroparesis, you’ve heard me talk about the low-FODMAP diet and how it can often help to alleviate symptoms like bloating, gas, and stomach pain. My favorite low-FODMAP resource is Registered Dietitian, Kate Scarlata. You may have read the recap I posted of the workshop I took with Kate in 2014 or the FODMAP Q&A we did together in 2015.
I recently contacted Kate to ask if she’d be willing to do another Q&A for the LWWGP Mentoring & Support Group, as they had a lot of FODMAP-related questions. She kindly agreed and this time we chatted for about 45 minutes, covering even more info about the low-FODMAP diet and it may help those with gastroparesis, IBS, reflux, and even fibromyalgia.
The information was so good that I’ve decided to share it here on the blog rather than just with the member of the group. I hope you find it as helpful as they did!
