On Facebook, I mean.  If not, check out my page at Happier Bellies, Healthier Lives.  I post news articles about gastroparesis treatments and patients, as well as inspirational quotes and random thoughts that don’t merit an entire blog post.  It’s also a great way to interact with other GPers and ask/answer questions.  As the title…

Crystal has been a huge help in battling this condition. Knowing that I can stay in contact with a person that has been through the same ordeal and has greatly improved is very comforting. What separates her from GP doctors and other experts is her own experience and detailed information on all possible treatment options.

Crystal realizes that GP is not a one size fits all illness. She is always encouraging and optimistic. Crystal encouraged me to be my own advocate in searching for solutions and therapy for GP. I do not think I would be where I am at today without her guidance and experience.

Contacting Crystal and working one on one has saved me in so many ways. There were a number of challenges I was facing in this phase of my GP. Breaking down these problems and finding solutions became much easier with Crystal’s training combined with her personal experience.

Crystal’s kind, hands on approach towards helping each patient meet his or her individual needs is inspiring. She sees each patient as a person and not a percentile. My daughter’s outlook immediately improves each time we hear from her because she knows Crystal really understand where she is coming from and wants to offer help.

I had so many questions that I didn’t feel like a doctor truly understood. Crystal was the only one who could say to me, “I know how you feel.” I was so overwhelmed, I didn’t know where to start. There is so much info out there. It meant so much to me that Crystal knows what we are going through.

After a 16-hour drive (in my new car, at least!), I’m back at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. While I will be seeing Dr. Fox for a neurostimulator check-up while I’m here, that’s not the main reason for my visit this time. I’m here for a two-week biofeedback program to address chronic constipation due…

I did not pick this path I am on, but feel truly blessed for having “met” Crystal. She not only nurtures the body, but also the mind and soul; key components that are mostly overlooked in traditional medical situations concerning disease. I feel confident that my health will be in the best state possible due to her expertise and caring nature.

Talking to Crystal in person has helped me get over the place where I was afraid to try new things. Since our session I have been able to add foods to my diet that are safe and good to eat. I have already gained 5 pounds!
